Fraud Alert

All customers and members of the public should be on the alert for unsolicited e-mail correspondence purportedly from the Irish Nationwide Building Society and/or the Irish Nationwide Isle of Man (I.O.M.). These e-mails claim that an account has been opened on your behalf by the Society or that you have won a lottery and you are required to transfer funds to secure the lottery win. The e-mails are purportedly signed by Society employees. You may also be asked to return a form with all of your personal information.

THESE ARE BOGUS E-MAILS
 
THIS IS A SCAM – Irish Nationwide will - NEVER open an account for any person unless that person has applied directly to the Company.
 
The Society will NEVER ask you for your personal information by e-mail.

  • DO NOT REPLY TO THESE E-MAILS
  • DO NOT ENTER ANY INFORMATION
  • DO NOT SEND ANY FUNDS
  • DO NOT RETURN ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION

 
FAKE e-mail addresses include: “irishnwbs.com”
 
If you receive an e-mail supposedly from the Society and you are suspicious forward it to info@inom.com delete the e-mail, you may also wish to report this to your local law enforcement authority.
